Fish tank iis very popular ,no matter in office ,or home ,it is a important decos  with living fish swimming in the water . There are mainly two kinds of fish tank . One is acrylic aquariums and the other is glass aquarium. When purchasing a fish tank it can be very hard to figure out which aquarium will work best for you .

So whats the difference between a Glass aquarium and an Acrylic Aquarium?
Many people may don’t know ,some person may think acrylic tank is usually much more expensive.  So they think acrylic tank should be better than glass tank. Actually ,this is not correct ,both acrylic aquariums and glass aquarium have their own advantages and disadvantages .
The following are their difference:

So when you use acrylic fish tank ,you must be very careful and pack it well ,or it would be very easy to be damaged

Secondly: As the density of glass is is much that of acrylic material ,so glass tank is more heavy than acrylic aquarium , it is usually about 4 times than one acrylic tank of the same volume. This make acrylic tank much easier than glass aquarium when you want to move it .

Thirdly:Acrylic insulates 20% better than glass reducing temperature flux, and saving on heating bills Fourth: Acrylic has molecularly welded, clear polished seams that literally make the tank one solid piece of material unable to leak and therefore guaranteed a lifetime against defects of workmanship

Lastly, As glass is very hard and fragile.,so it is difficult to make glass fish tanks in to different shape. While Acrylic fish tank is easily formed into almost any shape that you need. Acrylic also has less of a tendency to distort things that are behind a curve. Because of these two factors, acrylic aquariums are available in a very large number of shapes ,not just rectangular or square ,but even in hear shape!
