| Why we need acrylic poster frame? |

As we all know, glass has been very common before acrylic was developed. The history of acrylic are just about 50 years. As acrylic has many features which are very similar to glass ,so acrylic is also called plexiglass. But now ,as acrylic is developing ,acrylic is becoming more and more important in our lives. In many cases, it actually has take the place of glass, such as for poster frame ,photo frame, fish tank and many other items. When acrylic is used in posters and large picture frames because it’s more resistant and it is not so easy broken on the course of shippment, so cost less on traffic. While for glass ,it is very fragile ,once it is pressed by light force or collide lightly, it is very possible the glass poster frame would be broken. On the other hand, poster frame is so heavy, so it wouldn’t be not safe for them to be hung on the wall. Although acrylic is much better compared with glass, acrylic frame is very scratches easily when you are cleaning them. So it would be better to clean acrylic by soft towel with soap and water. But please note never use paper towels or other sharp tool as they may scratch acrylic. Whatever you do don’t use any cleaners like ammonia or Windex on acrylic because that will ruin it. So when it would be better to use acrylic poster frame but not glass poster frame?
